The N600: Extrerior

Now let’s take a closer look at the N600 all unwrapped, and ready to go.

As you can see the case is midnight black, and is composed of steel, and ABS plastic. The style of the case differs from many other cases with the power button, reset, USB, etc. being situated on the lower front of the case verses the top. The case measures at 202 x 378 x 445mm , or for you non fans of the metric system, 7.95 x 14.9 x 17.52 inches. The case is surprising lite in comparison to other mid tower cases, but don’t mistake that for the case being cheaply constructed as it is very far from that classification.

The front panel bezel is composed of vented mesh plastic which helps in keeping the case as dust free as possible, as well as adding extra cooling. As you can see the case has three 5.25″ drive bays. To access the bays you will need to remove the bezel, and snap off the bay grills on the bezel itself. The entire process is fairly simple we found, and placing the grills back onto the bezel was equally hassle free.

The case utilizes a tool-less design to mount drive bay devices. Again its pretty simple and effortless to use, and your device stays in nice, and secure.

If you noticed Cooler Master has screwed on the front i/o panel to the case itself. You”ll see why they opted for this kind of mounting vs. a more permanent solution in a minute.
